Gadura respects intellectual property rights and expects our users to do the same. This Copyright & IP Policy is incorporated into, and forms part of, the Gadura Terms of Service.
1. Your Responsibility
You may upload and distribute only content that you have the rights to use. You are responsible for ensuring that your content does not infringe copyright, trademarks, publicity rights, privacy rights, or other intellectual property rights.
2. Our Approach
When we receive a valid copyright notice, we may remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material and may terminate repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.
3. Submitting a Copyright Notice
If you believe material on Gadura infringes your copyright, please send a notice that includes:
- your full name and contact details;
- identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed;
- the URL or exact location of the material you believe is infringing on Gadura;
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized;
- a statement that the information you provide is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf;
- your physical or electronic signature.
Send notices to:
legal@gadura.com
4. Counter-Notice
If material was removed in error, the uploader may send a counter-notice containing:
- their name, address, and contact details;
- identification of the removed material and its former location;
- a statement under penalty of perjury that the material was removed by mistake or misidentification;
- consent to jurisdiction of appropriate courts (and acceptance of service of process) if the copyright owner pursues a claim;
- their physical or electronic signature.
We may restore content if we receive a valid counter-notice, unless the copyright owner files a legal action.
5. Repeat Infringers
We may terminate accounts that repeatedly infringe or repeatedly receive valid, substantiated copyright complaints.
6. No Legal Advice
Nothing in this policy is legal advice. If you are unsure whether content is infringing, you should seek legal counsel before submitting a notice or counter-notice.
7. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes may be communicated via email or in-product notifications.
